STICK NOODLE SNACK

Ingredients:
KANTIL flour 250 gr
Tapioca Flour 20 gr
Baking Powder 1.5 gr
Flavor Enhancer 2 gr
Egg White, lightly beaten 40 gr
Water 75 gr
Cooking Oil as needed
Seasoning Powder :
 – Chili Powder as needed
 – Balado Powder as needed

How to make:

  1. In a large bowl, combine KANTIL wheat flour, tapioca flour, baking powder, and flavor enhancer. Mix well.
  2. Pour the beaten egg white into the flour mixture and stir until the dough clumps together.
  3. Add water and stir again until the dough is smooth. Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
  4. After 15 minutes, knead the dough again and flatten it.
  5. Flatten the dough again using a noodle rolling machine until it is evenly thin. Roll 2-3 times to make the noodle dough thin and not too thick.
  6. Once the dough is thin enough, sprinkle with a little flour to prevent sticking and cut the dough into thin sticks using a knife or noodle cutter. The length of the noodles can be adjusted to taste.
  7. Dry the noodles with a dryer or sun-dry until the noodles are stiff and dry.
  8. Heat plenty of oil in a wok for frying.
  9. Fry the noodles over medium heat until cooked and dry. Remove and drain until cool.
  10. Prepare the noodle seasoning powder. Mix well.
  11. Sprinkle the seasoning over the noodles and mix well to coat all layers of the noodles.
  12. Stick noodle is ready to be served as a snack anytime.

Yields : approximately 260 gr.
