The visit aimed to enhance women’s economic empowerment through strategic partnerships with the private sector The Deputy Minister was accompanied by the Vice Regent of Cilacap, Mrs. Ammy Amalia Fatma Surya, S.H., M.Kn. On that occasion, Mrs. Veronika Tan observed the bakery training attended by dozens of women from the Regional Leadership Council (DPD) of the Indonesian National Nurses Association (PPNI) of Cilacap Regency
The bakery training included hands-on sessions in making bread and noodles using products from PT Manunggal Perkasa The participants were trained in basic techniques for making bread and noodles, as well as small business management in the culinary sector PT Manunggal Perkasa provided the facilities
The training was comprehensive and featured professional instructors as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, which focuses on sustainable community development
The Customer Service/Baking Manager of PT Manunggal Perkasa, Mr. Hariyatno, stated that this training is a manifestation of the company’s commitment to supporting community empowerment In her speech, the Deputy Minister expressed full support for the skills training programs for women, particularly in the bakery sector She encouraged PT Manunggal Perkasa to expand the training program to high schools (SMA) and vocational schools (SMK) in order to equip students with relevant skills for the future Ia juga berharap pelatihan ini bersifat aplikatif dan berkelanjutan.
